Overview and Philosophy

This personal website is designed to be a quiet, static, and privacy-respecting space on the web. I believe the web should function without surveillance, invasive telemetry, or monetization of visitor attention.

Cookies and Identifiers

This website does not set any tracking cookies, local storage tracking identifiers, or third-party marketing beacons. There are no advertising networks or cross-site tracking mechanisms present.

Preferences such as dark mode or sound toggle are stored locally in your browser storage (localStorage) and are never transmitted to any server.

Edge Infrastructure and First-Party Observability

The website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Requests are processed at edge points of presence to deliver content, enforce security headers, and prevent denial-of-service attacks.

We utilize Cloudflare Web Analytics and first-party edge telemetry (Cloudflare Analytics Engine) to monitor operational health, request performance, status codes, deployment stability, AI crawler patterns, page performance (Core Web Vitals, including which page element was involved and the connection type and device memory class your browser reports), and aggregate feature usage (such as search frequency, command palette open mode, music player opens, resume downloads, and client-side error signatures).

This operational telemetry is privacy-preserving: it does not use cookies, does not collect personal identifiers, does not log IP addresses or raw search text, does not record keystrokes or cursor coordinates, and data points are retained in Cloudflare Analytics Engine for a rolling 3-month operational window.

AI Agents and Machine Interfaces

AI systems, automated scrapers, and agents accessing machine-readable surfaces (such as /llms.txt,/mcp, /a2a, and /openapi.json) operate strictly in read-only discovery mode. No personal agent credentials or user interaction logs are stored.

Our content usage policies are published via standard machine headers (Content-Signal: ai-train=yes, search=yes, ai-input=yes) and declared in /ai.txt and /robots.txt.
